FIRMS codes
Every FIRMS code, one page each
A FIRMS code is the 4-character identifier U.S. Customs and Border Protection assigns to a facility where imported goods can be held or examined. Filers put it on entries, in-bond moves and location-of-goods data.

Why the raw list is hard to use
- About a third of codes aren't a letter plus three digits, so format checks reject real codes.
- One address often carries several codes, one per facility type or operator.
- Deleted codes and "do not use" placeholders sit in the same file as active ones.
- Names are free text: "Maher", "MAHER TERMINAL" and "Maher Terminals LLC" are the same pier.
FIRMSapi cleans this up behind one API: fuzzy search, nearby search, and validation of a code against the port and use on your filing. Start with the quickstart.
